For friends outside of NYC -- here's a few seconds of video of a brass band performing on the subway platform at the Second Avenue stop on the F train in the East Village. That's the great thing about New York -- you never know what kind of free entertainment you'll come across... This was the perfect ending to a great Saturday (tree shopping with Sio, lunch in Union Square with AW, holiday shopping, an unplanned run-in at an NYU area coffee shop with Christina and Eli, and dinner/drinks with my favorite Brit).
